At NAILX, we are committed to providing you with the highest level of education available throughout New Zealand and with that comes a revamp of our current Educational Department overseen by International Nail Manufacturers, USA.  We are recruiting now for individuals who are qualified nail technicians and artists, passionate about teaching, our products and wanting to join a dynamic and forward thinking company who is dedicated to providing both quality products and training support for our educators and customers alike. Although our website boasts some basic application videos, knowledge in nail anatomy & physiology, diseases, sterilization, product chemistry and client safety is essential for practicing technicians.  We offer courses in basic training as well as customised training for those looking to upskill and offer new services to their customers.

Whats New for 2019

NAILX and INM brought International Nail Artist and Judge, Mindy Hardy to New Zealand in 2017 to work with our educators in using  to spearhead our educational goals, training our current Educators from around New Zealand and offer open training in both Auckland and Christchurch.  In 2018 we also welcomed Amanda Viviers to our educator team.  In November NAILX hosted it’s educator workshop in Christchurch, inviting INM educators from across New Zealand to join together and learn and grow. 2019 we have more exciting opportunites lining up.  E-File classes with Lance Hazlett have proven popular and NAILX is now an approved KUPA Repair Centre.  With KUPA’s Elaine Watson hosting NTNA, we are all enjoying watching the artists involved, including their videos on how they created their amazing designs and we look forward to learning and growing with our principal suppliers throughout 2019.

With brands such as Öut The Door”, “Gelavish”, Integrity”, “Utopia”, “N.O.P” and boasting USA’s no 1 Top Selling Top Coat as well as fast dry, high pigmented nail polish and custom made files made by INM’s in -house abrasives company, you just can’t get better products and support from NAILX and INM.

Schools Training In INM Nail Care Systems

NAILX are suppliers of products and education to many tertiary institutes around New Zealand offering education in Nail Technology.  Please contact us for more information on institutes in your area and we will be happy to pass on details to you.  Should there not be an institute in your area, we also have a team of Independent Educators available.  Some work exclusively with NAILX-INM and others are independent and work with NAILX to provide ongoing support and education to our students.

Amanda Viviers -INM Educator . North

We are excited to have the NZ Nail Champion for 2016-17 on board as a NAILX – INM Educator.  Amanda loves working with INM products and looks forward to teaching you her wealth of knowledge.  She never stands still and her certificates of achievement are proof of her dedication to her trade and the industry. Amanda has competed in a number of nail comps in 2017.  She placed 1st in flat and rhinestone art and 3rd in stiletto and salon french at the Australian Virtual Nail Champs, 1st place in photographic art at the Perth Nail Extravaganza, and was runner up for New Zealand Nail Tech of the Year 2017-2018. If you are lucky enough to be a student of a school using INM, you may be lucky enough to have Amanda visit your school as part of your training.

Claire Archer –  INM Educator – Christchurch

Claire has been a nail technician for over 10 years first completing her Certificate in Nail Technology with the National School of Aesthetics in 2006 upskilling with Creative in 2007 before finding INM.  Claire’s passion about INM lead her to working towards and becoming an INM Educator and she qualified under Rachel Mouritsen in 2010.  Claire has recently completed further education in 2016 with International Nail Artist and Judge Mindy Hardy gaining her updated Educator Certificate and is looking forward to sharing the latest trends in nail artistry to Christchurch students as well as nail technicians and artists looking to upskill.

Karen Clark – Mid South Island Representative and INM Educator.

Karen is the Managing Director of NAILX Beauty Supplies and first trained with Elegant Nails in Christchurch and Dunedin in the late 80s and with some of the industry leaders of the time.  She trained with INM international educator and artist Lorena Marquez in 2006 and Mindy Hardy in 2016.  Karen is proof that it is never to late to learn and sat her International exams with the students in 2017.  In 2018 she trained at KUPA in E-File and as an approved repairer. Karen’s goals are to provide Kiwi technicians and educators the maximum number of tools available through education.  Karen believes in a collaborative approach and works with schools, independent educators and students to help them fulfill their goals.  Phone 021 286 4077

Emily Nicholson –  INM Educator – Southern Region

Emily started training with Creative in 1999 then additional courses in 2004 with OPI before finding INM.  Emily found INM’s products and education as the best and having found the best decided to train with NAILX-INM as an educator in 2006.  Emily completed a further Educators Certificate with Mindy Hardy, International Nail Artist and Judge in 2016. Emily has run her own sucessful business Em Nails in Dunedin since 2005 and has a passion for creating top quality nails as well as fabulous services winning her very happy clients.  Emily is keen to share her love of INM products with technicians and students alike.  If you would like to discuss further training or know more about INM in the South of the South, Emily would love to hear from you.



NAILX and INM are also proud supporters of The Southern Institute of Technology.  Beauty School teachers Cali Ann Harrington and Dixie Durham are also trained NAILX-INM Educators having recently upskilled with Mindy Hardy, International Nail Artist and Judge in may 2016.
